The Hobart Cat Centre is seeking volunteers to join their dynamic team in a variety of roles to assist in all areas of the Centre.
Volunteers are an essential part of the team here at the Hobart Cat Centre as we receive no government funding to assist with the costs of running such a large not-for profit feline shelter. Volunteering is a great way to learn about cats and their behaviours, while meeting like-minded people and giving back to the community! We have a variety of ways that you can help, either on or off-site:
Want to make the next viral cat video? We’re looking for creative people to help us produce social media content along with printed marketing materials not only of our cats for adoption but across all aspects of our operations.
There are many flexible roles within the team:
• Photo Editor
• Video Editor
• Graphic Designer
You don’t necessarily need to be on-site to volunteer – you could be part of a team where you edit photos and videos or do design work from the comfort of your office or home.
We’re always open to new creative ideas – let us know how you might be able to help!
