Bequests and Donations
Donations
The biggest difficulty encountered by the Hobart Cat Centre is the lack of financial resources. However, the public can assist by way of donations, bequests or by making use of the Cat Centre's Op Shops and Cat Centre Store.
The Cat Centre is always grateful to receive donations of food, woolen blankets, jumpers and old towels. Cash donations help with the ongoing care of our cats and kittens at the Centre and the maintenance of our facilities.
If you would like to make a donation* to the Centre, please contact us or make an online donation.
*Please note: All donations over $2 are tax deductible.
Bequests
Another way in which you can support the Cat Centre is to leave a bequest from your estate to the Centre.
Bequests make a big difference and greatly assist with the continued running of the Centre, maintenance, improvements, feral cat control, education on responsible pet ownership and the care of stray and abandoned cats and kittens. If you are interested in leaving a bequest to the Hobart Cat Centre you may like to discuss it with your solicitor or trustee. The necessary paperwork is available in our Bequest brochure (PDF 169Kb).
To ensure that your beloved cat is well-cared for should you pass away, you can leave your feline companion in the care of the Centre, where you can be assured that your cat will be loved and cared for. For more information and the costs associated with this, please contact us.
